Really great stay. House is spacious w/awesome kitchen and great views of beach & sunrise. The kids enjoyed the pool table & playing games. The adults enjoyed the live music @ the Jammer – especially the Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Dinner at Acme was great! If you can, get to the Sullivan’s Island beach at least once. Beautiful scenery that is very different than IOP. We will be back.

Had an extended family stay here. It was amazing with all the separate rooms! Kids enjoyed the pool table every night. If ever it rained we were in the hot tub. Except the last night, we had a heavy storm, but we love to play outside and did so every day whether or not it rained. The dock was super convenient as we were able to go to and from as many times a day as we wanted. Both adults and kids had a blast with the themed bedrooms, many stating that the cat room is “creepy”. What fun and a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. Couldn’t have asked for more!

This place is AMAZING! While I confess that the pirates in the entryway are a little unnerving – at first – this place is incredible. The pool & beach are wonderful, it’s close to so many things, & it’s spacious enough to host a group of friends/pepole who don’t dislike each other for a full week. Thank you for such a spectacular place & an amazing week-long vacation! Absolutely LOVED my experience at Casa Banana! This house is truly a paradise and I wish that I could live here. Every room is beyond spectacular and the themes are so fun. My absolute favorite room was the jungle room – the ceiling is lovely and I’m a leopard fan, so the carpet made me so happy. Having the beautiful beach in the backyard truly feels like paradise. Plus the pool is spectactular. Best vacation of my life and I will forever remember & cherish this experience.

A very fun place to stay. The furnishings and wall décor are incredible. We kept seeing and finding new things. View and access to the beach was beautiful. Very family oriented beach. We liked that…and the Jacuzzi….and the pool. Pretty expensive, but a once in a life time adventure for us.

Wonderful Family Trip

We had 17 family members, from Ohio and Colorado. The first time many of us have been together in 2 years, mostly due to covid. The house was great for all of us. Kitchen had plenty of space and everything you needed. The pool was great and very close to the beach. The house was clean and everything worked well. We were there mid July. The location was close to restaurants, bars and shops but very busy and crowded, especially on the weekend. The house sits right next to hotels and bars and the pier. That and a problem with ants around the pool (they come off the sand) are probably my two biggest complaints. Overall a wonderful house.

You won’t find a more perfect home to rent than Casa Banana, The house is beautiful–with dream bedrooms, huge gourmet kitchen. game room and lots of spaces to sit around and the enjoy the scenery and family time. You could spend a whole day just looking at the décor–it’s that gorgeous. The pool was wonderful–plus Casa Banana is right on the ocean. It’s close to shops, IOP Connector, restaurants and grocery store. You will love everything about it and will never want to leave!

The property was amazing! Exceeded all expectations and family friendly for everyone. There were 11 of us but honestly, house could probably sleep 25 as the layout of house was the best I have ever seen. More than enough kitchen space and plenty of seating inside and out. Beach Home Like No Other Home Away from Home

We’ve been back 2 weeks and are still talking about our stay at Casa Banana. The original plan was to be there last September, but Mother Nature changed our plans when the storm shut everything down. Thanks to the kindness and cooperation of the property manager (Tina Smith), we were able to re-schedule for the spring.

After a quick and easy check-in, our group of 10 friends were blown away with the unique interior design of this home. We actually took more time than planned just to explore this amazing home and all of the amenities. Then it was a quarter-mile quick trip to pick up groceries and a 2 minute walk from the house to choose from 4 or 5 great places to grab dinner…everything is so convenient.

We had couples join us for the first half of the week, then our adult kids and grandchildren for the last part of the week. Everyone (from age 2 to 72) found this house not only met our needs, but continued to amaze and amuse us on a daily basis, We had one minor issue with a grill (1 of 2 available), called for assistance, and it was remedied promptly with no disruption. We also used the service to have towels and sheets changed at mid-week with excellent results. We even rented a nice selection of beach toys for the kids. Tina made arrangements for us and the charges were very reasonable.

We could offer more details about the home and the way it was decorated, but going to the website and viewing will be much more fun than reading our description. There is no doubt we will return to Casa Banana.

Never Disappoints!

My husband and I were married in IOP a few years ago, and return each year to celebrate our anniversary. As part of this tradition, we stay in Casa Banana every year as we could not ask for a more perfect vacation rental! The location can’t be beat – oceanfront with terrific views from all ocean-facing rooms, our own pool and hot tub to enjoy, and the fun of all the different themed rooms. The kitchen has recently been renovated and it is absolutely gorgeous! (would probably make a few Iron Chefs envious!) Plenty of plates, drinkware, utensils, pots & pans … everything needed to create meals for a crowd. We didn’t want to leave – it’s simply paradise! Until next time!

This was our 3rd year in a row at a “Casa” property–first at Casa Margarita, last year at Casa Flamingo and this year at Casa Banana, We loved each one but I have to say I think Casa Banana is my personal favorite. Close to IOP Connector, shops, restaurants and grocery store. Beautiful new walkway to beach, gorgeous pool. Clean, well appointed, with every amenity you could imagine. Our family of 12 would not stay at any other property on Isle of Palms except a Casa”–we’ve already booked for next year!

Spectacular summer beach house

They say in real estate: location, location, location. Well, this house has it all. Easy to get to from Charleston airport, the beach is your back yard and the Isle of Palms area has every amenity you may need. The house is fun and whimsical and a joy to just walk around in. With a large pool, hot tub and plenty of deck and poolside seating, there’s plenty of room. Bedrooms are comfy and roomy. The house is clean and well maintained. The managers were always prompt in answering calls and emails. Watersports at Tidalwave Watersports were a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed everything about the house and our time there. They already want to go back. I would recommend this house without hesitation.

We had 6 kids – 8 & under who enjoyed the pools & the little ones thought the kids’ pools were great & it made it easier for the adults to watch them. Our extended family had a great week at Casa Banana — plenty of room for 8 adults and 7 children. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool area, which was larger and better furnished than any other beach rental we’ve stayed at. We also appreciated the fact that the dining area seats 20 (not even counting the barstools), and there are two regular refrigerators plus a beverage fridge. This house is only a couple doors down from IOP’s small retail strip and some hotels, so the beach got fairly crowded, but we never had any issues with noise or finding a spot for our chairs (and you can walk to the beach shops and Ben & Jerry’s!). The decor is pretty outlandish but we knew that beforehand and found most of it fun; the only somewhat objectionable part was the Rock and Roll room, which has quite a few drug (marijuana) references and led to some interesting questions from the kids. My suggestions for improvement would be: a second dishwasher (hard to fit but would be a big help), some extra bath towels, and please get another recycling bin (or two)! Recycling is only collected every other week and our bin was already half full when we arrived.

Perfect Family Beach Getaway!

Our group had a wonderful time at Casa Banana. We were in for a wedding at Boone Hall Plantation and Casa Banana was the perfect place for our group to enjoy quality time together. The house was so fantastic with our own lovely pool and the warm ocean and sandy beach at our doorstep, that we had a hard time getting motivated to leave the property to go sightseeing! In a week, we only left 3 times! Everything we needed was at the house. We had 14 staying at the house and groups of family/friends in for the wedding that would come over for the day and the place never felt crowded. People were inside, on the deck, in the pool, in the hot tub, at the beach. We cooked on the grill each night and picked up shrimp from Geechie’s Seafood dock at Shem Creek for shrimp boils. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed, plus seating for 20 so everyone could eat at once. Loved the big glass door refrigerator that we had full of beverages and then lots of refrigerator space in the kitchen and billiards room refrigerators. The decor in the house was very fun and unique. We’d notice something new everyday. Guests found themselves in the foyer bathroom for 15 minutes, just reading all the things on the walls and laughing! We spent evenings watching the sunset, playing Nuke ’em (Volleyball variation) with 3 generations playing and playing Left-Right-Center at the big kitchen table. Great memories for the kids and adults alike! Thank you Casa Banana. We miss you already!

Queen of the Casa

We rented Casa Banana, Flamingo and Margarita for our beach destination wedding week. Our family had stayed in Banana once before, but it was a first for other family and friends, and everyone was pleasantly surprised and just loved the decor. The themed rooms made everyone feel like a kid again! The location can’t be beat and the house was supplied with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great for families or a group of friends. We have so much fun staying in this house that we’ve already reserved it again for next spring, and I’m sure that won’t be the last time! Our accommodations definitely played a part in making our wedding week a very memorable one, and as the bride, I felt like the queen of the Casa!

Awesome house for a group event

Casa Banana was great. The house was exactly as advertised. Lots of interesting and entertaining decor that is perfect for a group that has a good sense of humor. The house was large, comfortably slept 12 guests, and was in a perfect location (beachfront and two doors down from Windjammer). The house came fully stocked with towels, extra blankets, toilet paper, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, basically everything you’d expect at a hotel. The property manager, Tina, was wonderful and did everything she could to accommodate our group for early check in/ late check out times. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We were a group of 5 couples, plus 3 single adults in town for our 20th class reunion and this house was perfect for us! Located right next to the restaurant district on IOP, this house is in a perfect location. It has plenty of parking and plenty of space. We spent much of our time at the house catching up and enjoying the oceanfront view. The house is well equipped for large groups, with nice touches like a commercial grade glass front beverage refrigerator for all of your adult beverages. The décor provided for never ending conversation. We will likely be renting again in 5 years, if not before!

A Perfect Stay! A Perfect Location! Fabulous Place!

We gathered at this most entertaining home to celebrate our 50th anniversary as nursing graduates. There were 14 of us, all but myself from various locations on the western side of the country. Numerous tours of Charleston were planned, but once they saw the house all were content to stay put and just enjoy the beauty of the beach and the comforts of the home. This whimsical home was well equipped for large numbers and each room provided hours of reading and viewing entertainment. The large kitchen and gathering space were perfect for the size of our group and the size of the home allowed for personal space times. The home is within walking distance of Island of Palms Stores including a very well stocked Harris Teeter. Tina Smith of Creations was extremely helpful and a delightful person with whom to deal. The management company was quick to respond to calls regarding minor issues of a burned out light and a minor hot tub issue. Charleston was a quick 20 minute drive. A big plus- the elevator. We will plan to stay again

This home was a perfect set up for our multigenerational family. The kitchen/eating area/living area is great for huge groups like ours, and the pool/beach set up can’t be beat. We rented the casa next door as well and that worked perfectly for our big group. The decor was not as overwhelming as I thought it might be from the photos. The house was comfortable and clean.

Just enjoyed a fun filled weekend with twenty close friends at the gorgeous and whimsical Casa! The delightfully and artfully curated rooms inspired endless conservation. The pool by the beach couldn’t be beat. All of the island hot spots are in walking distance. And the rental company was fast to respond and repair the small issues that arose (a broken toilet flusher and a stalled garbage disposal.) This destination instantly became a must stay for our annual girls trip. Can’t wait to return again and again!
