Great Fun Place

Celebrated my 90th birthday with my loving family from all around Michigan, Texas, SC, with ages from 6-90. Great fun place for many different activities for all. Lots of water games, card games and lots of good food enjoyed by all. The kitchen is well equipped with what is needed to cook.

Second year in this fun house

This completes 32 years of bringing the entire family to Isle of Palms and the second year in this fun house. We celebrated my 80th birthday and this was the perfect setting for this event. The most exciting time was watching our granddaughter’s engagement on the beach to her future husband. We’ve signed up for the house for next year, but it won’t be long before we’ll need more space for a growing family. Thanks for creating such a wonderful environment to spend with our beautiful family.

Great house for a large group! Kitchen has plenty of everything and a nice layout! Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and plenty of space to relax inside and out! Pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and a plus when coming in from the ocean! Wonderful views from the balconies! The entire house is themed and keeps you entertained, our favorite was the guest bathroom off the kitchen! Would recommend this house for large families or groups!

Couldn’t be more perfect

We rented the home for a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband. There were 10 couples that stayed at the house. There is more than enough space for everybody for daily community meals. The two dishwashers, two stoves, three refrigerators made cooking at breeze. The house had every amenity that you could want. We are very comfortable and never felt cramped with such a large group. The rooms were Surprisingly very quiet. The hot tub was a great treat and we even used the pool in December. The house was so much fun I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else without the Isle of Palms. The location is also great as we were very close to supermarkets and nightlife. The customer service to the days leading up were exceptional. Communication was a breeze and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

A Wonderful Retreat!

This place is amazing! We had 18 people from all over the country who arrived to a house full of fun and luxury. The decor is comfortable and makes you smile, even laugh out loud. Every person/couple had their own bathroom which was a gift to those of us over 50 (everyone). But that kitchen is unbelievable! It is well stocked to be able to easily cook for the crowd. And the table can handle a large group, which is the point of being together, isn’t it? Plus it has a view that many folks never get to enjoy. We only hope we will all be healthy enough to come back again as this house made for a perfect week at the beach. Many thanks to Tina for helping us every step of the way.

We needed a place for four generations, 3-90. Casa Margarita fit the bill to a T. We fit everywhere!! Community areas, bedrooms, kitchens, decks, and the beach. What more could you need. Wonderfully Quirky

We saw this online and almost passed it by as just to “over the top.” It did have the ton of bedrooms that we needed and availability when we needed it so we re-visited it. Glad We Did!!

We had young ones 3-9 and the pirate theme was right up their alleys. We even organized a pirate treasure hunt, complete with an X marks the spot map and cryptic clues. AARRGG

The double everything kitchen was so welcome; we just kept going from one dishwasher to the other. Only way we could have fed 20 people.

The location can’t be beat, offering easy access to the airport, downtown Charleston et al.

We love staying at Casa Margarita and seeing the new renovations each year. A Wonderful Time at Casa Margarita!

Our family (core group: 8 adults and 5 kids ranging from 12 -2; part-time add-ons 2 adults and 2 adults and 3 kids ranging from 16-12) is pretty big and varied in interests and ages.  Casa Margarita fit well into everyone’s vacation wishes and plans.

For kids there was the campy décor in the rooms, the pool, the baby pool, the hot tub and, of course, the beach…at the end of the deck walkway.

For adults, 10 bedrooms, each with a bathroom so adults could have some privacy from kids. There is also a bathroom near pool (important).

For cooking there is a professional kitchen with three refrigerators, two stoves, two microwaves and two dishwashers and two gas grills on the first level….actually quite amazing and very functional for a family our size.  The dinner table, seating 15 of us at one time, looks out on the ocean.

For just relaxing there is a large deck by the pool and a covered out of the sun area next to the pool.   There are two raised decks to catch the sun, enjoy the cool evening or if you are lucky, watch an exciting lightening show from a passing storm.

Finally, the grocery is a 5 minute walk (also quite important for our hungry kids).

For our family vacation, things could not have been better.

Casa Margarita is amazing! The house is huge with a beautiful view, right on the ocean. It is located very centrally on the island so you can easily walk to the bars and restaurants and the grocery store is very close. The house was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped with two ovens, two dishwashers, two large fridges and plenty of cooking utensils. We had one small maintenance issue with the hot tub and it was fixed within a few hours. Our group loved all of the themed rooms and the funky decorations throughout the house. It made for a unique stay. Also, each bedroom had its own private on suite bathroom which worked out really well for our large group. All in all, I am very pleased with our stay and I would definitely stay here again.

We all enjoyed our week at Isle of Palms; Casa Margarita’s pool was well maintained, the house was very clean, and the new kitchen was grand gourmet all the way! The pool table was enjoyed, as was the hot tub. The last day we had intermittent rain, but it wasn’t a problem: the rain clouds came and went, and we walked the beach and swam in between the light showers. If I had to recommend one tiny improvement, it would be to add an overhead light fixture over the round glass table in the living room. Our 1500-piece puzzle fit perfectly, but we needed more light at night. I certainly would recommend this to friends. Location is excellent for great restaurants and night entertainment.

Right on the beach with great access. Lots of fun decorations and a newly updated well-equipped kitchen with a huge dining area perfect for a large (and I mean large, like 17+ ladies) group of friends. Casa Margarita is a wonderful house. We had 10 out of town couples down to IOP for my wife’s 50th Surprise Birthday. She was surprised and everyone had a fabulous time. The house has every amenity imaginable. We had plenty of space to congregate as a group or to get away for a few minutes of peace and quiet. The best part of the house however is the Property Manager, Tina Smith … she was attentive, responsive and proactive. We never needed her during our stay – her prep for our group was perfect. She even recommended a chef that we hired for Friday night – he was amazing. I can not say enough good things about the house – I am sure the other ones they own, Casa Flamingo and Casa Banana are just as good. We will be renting again.

We are a group of 20 ranging in age from 5-89 and this was our 3rd year staying at the Casa Margarita. This house is the best we have ever stayed in!! It’s clean, spacious, has a large kitchen with 2 dishwashers & 3 refrigerators and incredible views from the kitchen table where we watch dolphins swim by every morning. It has beautiful views from all the decks as well. You will not find a home with more personality or a better location right on the beach by shops, restaurants, beach volleyball, etc. The management staff goes above and beyond to take care of your every possible need. If you want a memorable, awesome vacation — this is the place. This house is seriously the best house along the entire beach. So many amazing features, superb design, unparalleled views (what other house offers ocean views for so many bedrooms–all with private baths?). Not to mention the incredible decorations!! And this particular beach is fabulous in so many ways — clean, really big and flat–you can walk out super far and still touch bottom (great for kids). And you can watch your family at the beach from the kitchen! Huge kitchen table — we got 18 around it. The agent was terrific to work with and we had great service throughout the week. This is a vacation spot that will be hard to beat!

Amazing Beach House!

We stayed at Casa Margarita for 3-nights and wish we could have stayed forever! Casa Margarita was amazing! There were balconies galore to choose from and we relaxed on all of them. The top balcony was our favorite as we watched the waves crash on the shore all day and took in the stars at night. We really loved how close the home was to all the restaurants and shops on the Isle of Palms and pretty much walked almost everywhere. However, we found that all we wanted to do was stay at the house and take it all in. The decor was so much fun! We’d spend hours just going through all the rooms and checking it all out. The home was well stocked and we didn’t want for anything. We all got the best night’s sleep as the large king size beds were so comfortable. The private beach boardwalk was awesome as we walked on the beach every chance we got. We’d catch ourselves waking up early to watch the sunrise from the top balcony. It was the best beach trip that we ever had! We can’t wait to come back to Casa Margarita again!!!

Fun For Everyone

The Casa Margarita met our needs, even before our actual arrival date! Management was easy to work with and eager to make sure that all of our family members were pleased with their stay. We visited several other homes before deciding that Casa Margarita would be the best. The children and adults were in awe upon walking into the home! There was no bickering about who slept in each room because there were 10 bedrooms with private baths, and at least 7 bedrooms with ocean views! The open space allowed everyone to eat and enjoy each other during dining. When grandpa wanted to sleep while the children played, it was “all good” because he could not hear a sound from upstairs to the King Tut room! The elevator allowed us to have our 88 year old grandmother visit and share an afternoon with us in this fun-filled home. The best quote of the week was, “There’s more?!” And the answer was always “yes” at Casa Margarita. We would recommend this home to any family that wants to stay in a unique, eclectic home that is right on the beach!

Fun House!

A group of 10 couples rented this home for 3 nights and we wished we could have stayed for 7. The house is so roomy with the opportunity to be together or have some privacy. The rooms themselves are so decorated you could spend a good bit of time just seeing it all. The view of the ocean is spectacular from the house balcony. Great family vacation with lots of room for everyone

This house is perfect for a large family vacation with lots of room for everyone. The common areas are very spacious and all the adults had their own room with a full bath! We loved cooking big meals every night and the huge refrigerators came in handy. It’s a fun house with something new to see around every corner. We had family members ranging in age from 3 years old and to 70 years and everyone had a great time. The pool was a big hit and it was so nice to just be able to walk out to the beach. Even Tropical Storm Julia couldn’t dampen our spirits. The only issue we had was that one of the AC units stopped working but they came out within a few hours and had it back up and running! This is our second time staying at Casa Margarita and we certainly plan on returning.

Casa Margarita is FANTASTIC!

Our family vacation, that consisted of 14 people from 9 years old to 75 years young, stayed at the whimsical Casa Margarita. What a blast! Each time I looked around a room, there was always something new to see. The house was the perfect fit for our crew. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is huge and sat everyone at the large dining table. I have to give a shout out to the personal chef we hired for 3 dinners; Marc White of Low Country Chef (http://www.locochef.com). He and his assistant Danielle were awesome! The food they prepared was out to this world! We had to call the rental office for an issue with a wasp nest and to clean the pool after a couple days. The staff at Wyndham were so accommodating and pleasant. They had someone out on both occasions with in the hour. Quiet and large beach front property. You can not go wrong with this house. Don’t give this house a second thought–rent it–you will not be disappointed!

We are a family of 20 ranging in age from 5 to 88. We have stayed in many houses through the years and Casa Margarita is by far our all time favorite. We have stayed there twice now. It is extremely clean, quiet and accomodates our large sized party with so much living, entertaining, outside deck and dining space. The kitchen is fantastic with 3 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers. It has everything we could possibly need. The house is located right on the ocean with a pool and is within a short walk to shops and restaurants. The views are incredible especially from the decks and main dining table! The bedrooms are all a comfortable size and most have king sized beds. There is a pool table in the sports room too!! We truly cannot say enough about Casa Margarita. There must have been hours and hours of thought put into each and every detail of this house. All the rooms are themed which makes the house even more fun. We loved every minute of our vacation in this house!!

Large Family Vacation!

We recently just returned from our stay in the beautiful Isle of Palms at the Casa Margarita. What an absolute blast we all had! The ages of our family members ranged from 7- 69, and believe me when I tell you this house is perfect for everyone! There were 16 of us staying in the home, and there were still several sleeping spaces that did not even get used. There is plenty of space to relax and get away from the noise if you are taking a large group, or you can stay right in the middle of it all in the ample family area attached to the large kitchen. All of the bedrooms had their own private baths and some of them had deck access to overlook the Atlantic. You are within walking distance of the town of isle of palm and if you are looking for an adult evening out, there are two bar/restaurants that are accessible from a short stroll down the beach. The pool was a welcome break considering the time we were there it was extremely hot. This home upon arrival was very clean and immaculately decorated. There was not a detail missed! Great spot for children and adults to get a lot of laughs and enjoy gorgeous views from all of the decks.

Just returned from another year at Casa Margarita in Isle of Palms. Our family has been vacationing in IOP since 2005 and love this beautiful location. This whimsical home offers so many amenities for all different age groups. It is close to downtown IOP, directly on the beach, beautiful pool with plenty of seating, enough bedrooms to sleep large families or families sharing a home. The property Manager is wonderful and no issue goes unresolved. We are always sad to leave and look forward to our return in 2017.

There are no words to adequately express the wonderful time my family enjoyed at Casa Margarita. What fun the owner must have had in decorating and furnishing this delightful house, and, as a result, just about every moment one of us was discovering another fun and whimsical “treasure”! Beautifully maintained, priceless views, very substantial (first class) appliances (refrigerators galore), unbelievably generous dinnerware and utensils, lots of tables for dining, games, very comfortable sturdy furniture. The themed bedrooms are so clever, fun and comfortable. There is nothing I could say that needed improvement. Mrs. Webber has thought of everything!! The pool and hot tub are pristinely maintained with lots of outdoor furniture surrounding the area. Prime prime front beach location. We thank our lucky stars to have been fortunate to enjoy this lovely home for a most memorable week. We’ve rented before (Casa Flamingo) and we WILL be back! Love love love the care and attention this property receives, and delightful people to work with in planning a great vacation. Our family reunion numbered 21, and this home could not have been more perfect.

Most Fun Girls Getaway EVER!

This stunning, insanely clean, absolutely breathtaking house is a MUST for every group of friends! We had a big group of girls stay here for a long weekend and it was the best four days ever. Our biggest decision was deciding what room to stay in since every bedroom was decorated with a different theme with every single detail tied in and amazing decorations. It took a couple hours just to go to each room and check out all the details (including the 12 bathrooms)! There is a row of new outdoor showers as well, the pool is beautiful, and the stay was surperb. Now it’s time to plan our next trip at the other two houses that are decorated like this as well. DEFINITE GO! Not to mention the landscape was the best on the block 🙂 Thank you for everything Casa Margarita!

College Reunion

Simply put, the pictures don’t do this house justice – you really have to see it to believe it. Aside from the unique decor, pool, hot tub, and choice beach access, it’s centrally located on Isle of Palms – within walking distance to places like The Windjammer and The Dinghy and a short drive to Harris Teeter. The reunion that my group had was unforgettable, and the charm and amenities that came along with Casa Margarita undoubtedly contributed to our enjoyment. Though we were a group of 30-something males, the versatility of this location would have been equally appropriate for families, girls’ weekends, etc.

This is the 6th year my husband and 9 of his fraternity brothers and their wives have congregated at IOP for a weekend of food, friends, and fun! We stayed at Casa Margarita this year and although we had terrible weather with the most rain this area has ever seen, we had so much fun at this whimsical house. Oceanfront with lightning and rain, this was a wonderful safe dry place to be. It was exceptionally clean, large enough for all of us to congregate in one room and a completely equipped kitchen. We will definitely be back!

College reunion

This house worked perfectly for the 6th reunion of college friends. Unfortunately, it was during the torrential rain that plaqued Charleston and flooded much of the low country. Being forced to stay inside for most of our stay, we couldn’t have picked a more suitable house. College football, a pool table, and more than ample kitchen space for the constant feeding of 14 people. Of course, being on the ocean and having the ability to watch the surfers during this intense storm added for entertainment. Quite a few thrill seekers out there. Most importantly was the feeling of security during this time. A well built home.

Fabulous Vacation!

Casa Margarita was a fabulous place to stay in Isle of Palms! The house was plenty big enough for 10 couples, the house was so clean and fresh when we arrived, and the decor kept us entertained the entire week. The living area is so large and was great for gatherings in the evening. The pool area is fantastic and such a great place to hang out. The house is so close, with in walking distance, to stores and many restaurants. The ocean view from the main floor was gorgeous. Close enough to Charleston for day trips as well. I’m sure all 10 couples would recommend this vacation home to anyone who inquired. What a great vacation!

Casa Magnificent!!!

From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by the amazing ocean view, we knew we made the right choice in choosing Casa Margarita!! The decor is fantastic and you could spend hours just going from room to room and exploring the interesting themes! We were rained in the first 2 nights, so the enormous dining room table was perfect for playing games and cards and just hanging out. There were even books and games provided by the owners! The 10 huge bedrooms with king size beds (one room has 2 queens instead), were perfect for the 14 adults and 8 children that shared this lovely home for a week. Having a private bathroom in each bedroom gave each guest their own private space. Three refrigerators (one huge commercial fridge), 2 dishwashers and 2 cooktops made this kitchen more than adequate for cooking big family meals and holding all of our food and drinks for the week! Two huge outdoor gas grills made cooking out so easy! The kids loved the pool (only wish it were heated as we had some inclement weather during our stay) and the hot tub was a huge hit for all! As was the pool table!! The porches and decks provided a perfect spot for watching the sun rise with our morning coffee and a place to hang out in the evenings. The proximity to the beach is such a convenience and shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We visit the island often and this was our first time renting a house instead of a condo. It was worth every penny and we highly recommend it!! We also really appreciated that most of the furniture and decor were glued or nailed down as we had a few “little ones” and didn’t have to worry about baby proofing!! We hope to be back soon!

Best Vacation Ever

This was our 4th year of vacationing in So. Carolina and was absolutely the best. Casa Margarita is gorgeous, spacious, close to everything including the ocean. What impressed me most was the themed decorations and attention to detail. It was obvious that a lot of thought, love and work went into furnishings–every day we would find things to look at that we hadn’t seen before. It truly was the perfect vacation spot!

Perfect Family Vacation Casa!

Casa Margarita was the absolute perfect spot for our family vacation! The space/ size of the home, the location, and the fun decorations made this the ideal spot for our annual family get-together! We have a large family – 17 adults and 3 kiddos – and the house had plenty of room for everyone! We all enjoyed checking out the unique decorations and the pool was the perfect late afternoon/ evening hang-out! Everyone enjoyed the large kitchen and family room, as well as the great porches. We loved the beachfront location and the close proximity to downtown Isle of Palms. We had so much fun spending during our week at Casa Margarita and will definitely be back!

Best House we have ever stayed in for family vacation! We had 17 adults, plus, 3 little kids and had plenty of room for everyone. The decorations were so tacky they were hilarious 🙂 You could spend all day just looking at the unique decorations and reading the little sayings posted around the house. The house was located on the beach and in walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Great location! The pool was a major plus to have for the kiddos after a long day at the beach! Loved getting to sit and enjoy the swings and rocking chairs on the 3 different porch levels. We will definitely be back!!

IT DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!!!

This house has everything you need to have a fabulous vacation! It is extremely clean, we could not imagine how many people it takes to keep up the level of cleanliness of this house. It is close and within walking distance of grocery, seafood and liquor stores and several unique and delicious restaurants and bars. Each room in the house is larger than it appears in the photos and has so much detail. So much thought has been put into the designing of each fascinating room. The porches offer a lovely retreat whenever you want to get out of the sun and just swing and enjoy the ocean breeze and views. The pool was used everyday and enjoyed by all ages, but especially by our youngest family member. She became a first time swimmer and floater in the 2ft kiddie pool. Then there is the beach – one word – “HEAVENLY”. All our dinners were enjoyed at the large dining table where everyone picked there seat based upon the creative names on the chairs. The panoramic view during dinner was breathtaking and so enjoyed by everyone. We have family reunions every two years and have been at different VRBO homes up and down the east coast, this house was voted the best and from now on this is where everyone wants to vacation together. Thanks to Tina Smith and Wyndham Vacation Rentals and of course the Owners of this wonderful house. We will be back in 2016!!!!

Even better than the pictures

We had a group of fifteen of us stay in the house for a writing retreat (we couldn’t resist the theme rooms) and had a fantastic time. Tons of space in the common areas, a table big enough to accommodate all of us, clean and well-maintained. We gave the wi-fi a run for its money, but most groups will have no problems there I suspect. Communication with the property management company was great throughout. Thanks for a great trip; we’ll be back.

the time of our lives

We went to Charleston for a family wedding and invited our young professional nieces and nephews to the Cassa Margarita for some family time. Had a great time!!! 10 bedrooms each with their own baths no waiting in line here. Elevator was a great help when great aunt with a recent broken hip came to visit got her upstair without any problems. New years eve was great family time with games and puzzles at every table. Plenty of refrigerator space with a commercial cooler big even for trays and whole cakes. Great location the beach is right there and even in January it was a pleasure. Hot tub was nice. A grand time was had by all. Oh the photos you can take in this house great props. The newly weds got the love nest. Cute

What a week!

We stayed here for our 35th college reunion week and simply could not have chosen a better place. The layout of the house and its location are perfect for a larger group of family and/or friends. The themes throughout the house added a lot of character and brought us a lot of laughter. The fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom was especially appreciated by our, uh, more mature group. The large common areas (basically the whole second floor is kitchen, dining and great room) allowed us to congregate and spend wonderful times together. From coffee looking at the ocean in the morning to cocktails looking at the ocean in the evenings, this place is perfect. We’ll be back next year!

Fantastic home for our annual family reunion – lots of adults and lots of children. All the boys stayed in Sponge Bob bedrooms; girls in Dinosaur – leaving 8 bedrooms for the adults and babies. The description of the house is accurate; the property was clean and well-maintained; I would recommend this property.

This One’s Hard to Top!

After 7+ years visiting IOP we have finally discovered the house of our dreams! Our family of 20 (grandmom, 6 grown siblings, spouses, and kids) stayed for the week. Plenty of room for all. The house was immaculate, fully equipped, and had beautiful ocean views from all angles. Imagine eating at a banquet sized table surrounded by the sea! We cooked in every night and the extra stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator were a big help. The kids enjoyed the top level Dino Den and Sponge Bob rooms, even had their own private sitting room! The adults enjoyed the private baths, spacious decks, and the commercial size beverage cooler. The decorating was such a treat- with a surprise around every corner! Just steps from the beach and a short walk to downtown. The upkeep is incredible- all fresh and newly painted. The decks, stairs, and walkway to the beach are special faux wood, so no splinters. Had visits from the landscapers, bug guy, and 2 from the pool cleaners. Just saying- we’ve spent a lot of summer vacations at IOP but this beats anything we’ve ever experienced! We’ve already made plans to return!

Casa Margarita Bueno!!

Our extended families (14 people) really enjoyed staying at the Casa Margarita! Everything was set up so well for a large group. We rented stand up paddle boards and bicycles, since the property was right on the beach, and enjoyed the use of the pool for volleyball games. Some of our group went to Luke and Ollie’s for lunch a couple days since it is within walking distance. My sister and I played tennis at the public courts as well (get there early if you want to play!) Charleston has so many fun places to visit and we all love to go to Coast restaurant…..great food!!! So much to do and so little time to do it! This was our second summer vacation to the area, having stayed at the Casa Flamingo last year. Once you have a table large enough to seat the whole group, you don’t want to separate the group.

Unique House

Spectacular location, great layout for large group. Some of the posters and figures were not G rated, but everything seemed to fit the personality of the house. Eclectic themes in the 10 bedrooms were very interesting to say the least. Best thing I can say is that we booked it again for next year even though it is a bit pricey.
